Not public domain as uploader asserted; sheriff's departments are not affiliated with the U.S. Dept. of Justice, and the Palm Beach Sheriff's office claims copyright of all website content, including mugshots. --Lpdrew (talk) 05:14, 10 June 2009 (UTC)

- I just read the template, so is the mugshot copyrighted if the Sheriff dept website has a "copyright" notice on the bottom of every page? Or does the State Legislature have to make that decision? If we are following state copyright law I request this ce closed and the image be kept and restored to wikipedia's Limbaugh article. --71.135.160.114 21:57, 10 June 2009 (UTC)
Kept. This deletion request was based on the wrong PD template having been used. I've since replaced it with the correct template, so this request is automatically moot. There's no reason to suspect that this is at all controversial, so I'm taking the liberty of closing it as a non-admin, as per COM:DELETE.
