I'm sorry but I don't see how this has any educational value, it's just the current arms of the Republic, with the Saxe-Coburg-Gotha line's arms superimposed. No source and historically anachronistic. Fry1989 eh? 21:01, 24 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

hmmm, what do you mean "historically anachronistic"? educational value? Granted it is not perfect (it is missing both the motto and the chain), but it is not the only image that is meant to represent those arms. I am not sure about the exact historic use of the arms, but they are currently in use by the H.M. as you can see by his website. [[1]] Also, there has long been on the wikicommons historical variations of the Royal arms of Belgium, some which have the same variation. Tinynanorobots (talk) 22:55, 24 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
It's just the current arms of Bulgaria with the Saxe shield on top. The current design has only existed since 1990s. The version used on the royal website has more in common with File:Coat of arms of Bulgaria (1927-1946).svg than it does File:Coat of arms of Bulgaria.svg.
