- Keep The deletion was done without any discussion on commons. I had opposed deletion in Commons:Deletion requests/File:RBMK Reaktorhallenaufbau.PNG. I see no problems with copyright. /Pieter Kuiper (talk) 23:00, 25 January 2009 (UTC)
- Main problem is not copyright, but wrong information. The uploader gave [1] as source. There are a couple of relevant features in the derived drafts uploaded to WikiCommons, that are not seen in the source in any way. Worst of all: There is a swimming pool sized coolant collecting tank directly under the reactor. Such a reservoir would have had significant implications on Tschernobyl type incidents. See the German discussion for details.---<(kmk)>- (talk) 16:34, 26 January 2009 (UTC)
- Maybe the schematic is not meant to indicate the literal position or the actual size of a water reservoir. If there are no copyright-related reasons to delete the image, it can be kept. /Pieter Kuiper (talk) 17:54, 26 January 2009 (UTC)
- As I recall, such a tank underneath the Chernobyl Reactor had to be drained by the manual opening of several sluice gates to allow firemen to pump the water out in order to prevent a secondary steam explosion, this resulted in the deaths of four people Spiz101 (talk) 21:30, 27 January 2009 (UTC)
