Delete: Vatican stamps don't appear to have any special copyright terms, so 70 years pma applies to this 1975 stamp per Commons:Copyright rules by territory#The Vatican state. Obviously not the uploader's own original work so they cannot release the image freely. Ww2censor (talk) 10:25, 10 December 2016 (UTC)
- Unfortunately I cannot find the original text of the Vatican law about the intellectual property, because the link does not work, but, if the information about the copyright of stamps are correct, you are right and this file must be deleted. I'm sorry!--Cats' photos (talk) 13:27, 10 December 2016 (UTC)
- According to the articles of some newspapers, the Vatican legislation about the copyright is very similar to the Italian one, so I've searched for some information about our laws. The article 11 of law number 633 of 1941 says that the intellectual property of works published by public institutions belongs to them. However, the article 29 of the same law says that the the right of economic exploitation (which is different from the right of attribution) of works published by public institutions lasts 20 year. The problem is complex: in the page about the copyright on stamps it is written that the rule of 70 years is applied, because there aren't more information available. I would like to find the original text of Vatican law...--Cats' photos (talk) 14:24, 10 December 2016 (UTC)
Delete:Ok, I've found the text of the Vatican law about intellectual property: the fourth paragraph of the fourth article establishes that the institutions of Vatican have the intellectual property rights for 70 years after the date of publication, therefore the file must be deleted and I agree with Ww2censor.--Cats' photos (talk) 15:51, 10 December 2016 (UTC)
