- Zaman newspaper's entire electronic archive was deleted after its takeover by the Turkish government (see https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/amp/world-europe-35735793. ), so we rely on citations elsewhere for media originally published in Zaman. This image's authorship is cited by such publications as Center for Geopolitical Analysis http://icmu.nyc.gr/%20Gulenism%3A-The-Middle-Way-or-Official-Ideology%3F , Columbia Journal of Transnational Law http://jtl.columbia.edu/gulen-extradition/ and Religion News Service https://religionnews.com/2016/07/16/u-s-based-cleric-denies-role-in-turkey-coup-attempt/ .
