Image has opaque white background and is unused. Alfa-ketosav (talk) 12:29, 26 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

  •  Keep Nominated image is graphically weak (not large, not high-resolution, some needless in-image caption text). But alternative is File:Phloroglucinol synthesis.svg that has a different (and less-common, not in sync with wikipedia pages using it) representation of the benzene ring and is factually poorer (need specifically hydroxide not just a generic "base" in third step, and specifically "Raney Ni" not just some Ni–Al alloy in second step). Thanks. Also, the nominated image also just says "base", not hydroxide. Alfa-ketosav (talk) 11:27, 5 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@Alfa-ketosav: Why don't you apply en:MOS:Structure drawing? --Leyo 22:48, 6 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

It doesn't contain information about how one should draw aromatic compounds like phloroglucinol (e. g. whether one has to draw alternating single and double bonds or one can draw circles to mark aromaticity). Alfa-ketosav (talk) 12:58, 7 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I was rather referring to the proportion (see section Suggested molecule editor settings). Your settings are not even close to those. --Leyo 20:24, 7 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
