Photographer Julius Folkmann died in 1948, the pic is not pd (70 pma). Paulae 17:47, 29 April 2011 (UTC)
- I have inserted the correct licensing templates (PD-1923 and PD-Denmark50). Now the image should be able to remain on Commons. In its database, The Danish Royal Library has only made available to the public those images they consider to be public domain. --Urbandweller 19:29, 29 April 2011 (UTC)
- Keep, looks like a simple photograph by Danish standards to me so {{PD-Denmark50}} applies, not 70 years pma. You can compare with File:Paavo Nurmi sytyttää olympiatulen 1952.jpg to get an idea of where the threshold is (as the copyright laws were coordinated among the Nordic countries, the threshold will be nearly the same in Finland and Denmark). - Keep I couldn't agree more. Besides, as long as no guidelines exist (court rulings) as to the interpretation of "artistic merit" under Danish law, Commons should use the widest possible interpretation of it. --Urbandweller (talk) 08:14, 1 May 2011 (UTC)
