Permission has been given by the author to use the image. JP James contacted Wikipedia at 16.55pm today to grant permission as follows:

I, JP James, author and editor of the above book and co-designer of the book cover, being the copyright holder of the work, am pleased to give permission for my co-editor, Russell Airey, to publish with free license an image of my book cover on Wikipedia’s Paul Kossoff page. The image can be used by anyone, anytime, for any purpose. It is not precious.

As mentioned above this has already been done by the author. I appreciate you need to check copyright infringement but quite frankly I really can’t be bothered dealing with Wikipedia anymore. It’s just far too much hassle! Shame because your Paul Kossoff page is riddled with inaccuracies and errors and needs updating by someone who knows the subject.
