Low resolution and no obvious use. Content posted with the intention of creating/spreading hoaxes on users talk:page Agljones (talk) 19:36, 26 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@Victuallers: I agree but the humor is as I can see it only on en.wiki. So I think it is up to en.wiki to decide if the usage is okay or not. --MGA73 (talk) 10:53, 4 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep Bad faith nomination. Image is not low-res and illustrates two directly-contrasting areas - public (behind barriers) and non-public. I have added to an appropriate position on Isle of Man TT#Practice sessions which has pre-existing text created 10 April 2015 by Agljones. Although the image was taken on a race-day, it conveys useful information for the reader as to the appearance and stationing of machines which are used by travelling marshals at race speeds during the events, hence is of benefit to the en article; I would surmise this deployment would also extend to include practice periods. There is no humour involved - quite the reverse.

Victuallers, MGA73 you are welcome to dm me; *spoiler alert* - you may learn information which could affect your trust and faith in WP. Apologies for the delay in responding, I am about finished with Wikipe/media, but this nomination is the prompt I needed to return.--Rocknrollmancer (talk) 00:25, 2 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Thx but thats not the kind of info I would queue up to receive as I'm not an admin. If you think I can help .. then I'm emailable Victuallers (talk) 07:06, 2 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Comment The image is of poor quality and has no other obvious use. The image appeared on the editors User:Rocknrollmancer [[1]] talk page with this edit [2] with a number of other images. Comments with this image and other images were required to be removed with these edits [3],[4] to avoid creating hoaxes in respect to living people. Wikipedia, 'saliently' does not allow talk:pages to be used in this fashion to continue disputes by other means.

There is no obvious humour in the deleted comments, which is confirmed by the same editor. Wikipedia does not allow the use of images to dress articles as shown by this edit [5]. The same editor has confirmed that there may not be any apparent direct connection with the main articles text and sub-paragraph, is out of context and without pertinence or encyclopedic nature. This may suggest that the editor is again trying to create a hoax as shown by the text deletions at the editors talk:page.Agljones (talk)19:34, 3 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Commons volunteers are directed to the bad faith upload details contained within the following: The latter three were purposely created too-small and low file size/resolution, a bad faith retort displaying passive dissent to good faith requests by a veteran editor. I knew in real-time, didn't have to search for these.

Commons is a repository for images to facilitate re-use:

The purpose of Commons is to serve as a media repository, a reliable resource of useful, open source media content; organized and comprehensive in coverage (with accurate file descriptions/information), educational, and intended both for use by Wikimedia projects, and as a public service freely accessible to everyone.

I know of no facility for deletion to based on personal dislikes or grudges. Per an en admin's 2019 Talk page section responding to me: Commons is actually set up to be a webhost of files and other content which can be used on all Wikimedia Foundation projects, and generally any file being used any Wikimedia Foundation project page (even if it's only someone's user page) is considered to be OK per COM:INUSE; so, it's going to be pretty hard to convince others that these files should be deleted based on the opinion...

The opening text above "Low resolution and no obvious use" is copied from Wikipedia standard proposed deletion template, see en:User talk:Agljones#Proposed deletion of File:Field IMG P0003653.jpg, viz. "unused, low-res, no obvious use", dated April 2020.

MGA73 - request speedy keep closure to avoid any more time wasting, per WP:DENY and WP:DONOTFEED.--Rocknrollmancer (talk) 00:41, 6 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

  •  Keep No valid reason for deletion provided. The resolution is fine, the subject is in scope (photographers and audience at a sport event), the description can be fixed if there is some mistake but does not seem irrecoverable. The only real objections are about the usage of the file on the English Wikipedia, where it can be blocked by w:en:MediaWiki:Bad image list if people agree it's such a big problem. Kept: No consensus it's only being used for vandalism/disruption, no other valid reason given. --DMacks (talk) 17:37, 6 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
