- Comment by the uploader (Bricksmashtv4): "I would like to start off by saying I was unaware that image (or that blog for that matter) existed. I was under the impression no one else had made a skeletal restoration of Padillasaurus before. Second, My restoration is not directly based off of Giraffatitan, because all analyses found Padillasaurus closer to Brachiosaurus and basal Brachiosaurids rather than to Giraffatitan (this would be more obvious if I did a full body skeletal rather than a simple rigorous skeletal (but I'm not wasting my energy to draw a full skeletal restoration for a series of caudals and a couple dorsals, after all, I'm not doing any of this digitally). So I would like to see my restoration continue to stay up, at least until someone does a full digital restoration that they make CC." FunkMonk (talk) 21:08, 16 May 2016 (UTC)
- My question to that is, why do the silhouettes appear to be identical? FunkMonk (talk) 21:08, 16 May 2016 (UTC)
(Sorry can't figure out how to reply, so I'm just going to directly edit the page) Actually the silhouette is more based off of Paleo King's Sonorasaurus skeletal (as the two both share a similar position on the Brachiosaurid family tree): http://paleo-king.deviantart.com/art/Sonorasaurus-thompsoni-598038801
- In that case, we have the same copyright issue. FunkMonk (talk) 06:34, 20 May 2016 (UTC)
