Improperly licensed, and hence copyright violation John from Idegon (talk) 23:37, 21 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Keep Consisting as it does of simple text and an ordinary anchor, it does not meet COM:TOO under US law.  JGHowes  talk 23:42, 21 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
The anchor is not "ordinary" as far as I can tell. Instead it seems to be original enough for copyright. De728631 (talk) 20:29, 23 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Hi De728631, Sorry to disagree, but it is hard to see how an unadorned, ordinary anchor that is common property rises to the threshold of creative originality required for copyright, in light of the other logos shown at COM:TOO United States. As an aside, even if you're right that a simple anchor meets the US threshold of creativity for copyright, it would still be {{PD-CA-Gov}} as this logo is a work of a California governmental entity.  JGHowes  talk 21:49, 23 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Keep Well, Pacifica HS being a government entity is totally new information for this DR and is reason to the keep the file: {{PD-CA-Gov}}. De728631 (talk) 14:48, 24 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
