- The file in question is the logo of a political party (ergo, an official seal/logo/symbol instead of a commercial/registered trademark), and as such there is no copyright infringement for it's under public domain (like any official seal/logo/symbol of political organizations and institutions in Dominican Republic). --Ajente02 (talk) 17:54, 21 June 2018 (UTC)
- A logo may still be under copyright by its original creators or the party itself. --küñall (nütramyen) 18:36, 21 June 2018 (UTC)
- The supposed original creator, Taján Martínez in 1962, didn't took the time to legally claim the authorship of the logo (in public domain, he isn't even aknowledge as the creator). And as the official seal/logo/symbol of a political party in the Dominican Republic, it's just not eligible for protection under local copyright laws (as neither of the ones aforementioned). --Ajente02 (talk) 18:26, 25 June 2018 (UTC)

- Deleted. Political party seals or official logos are not exempted from copyright protection in the Dominican Republic. English translation of the law available here. Exemptions are listed in Title IV, Chapter I. Thuresson (talk) 00:42, 30 September 2018 (UTC)
