Commons:Deletion requests/File:Nicola Toki.jpg
- Original text:
I was working on Nicola Toki's wikipedia page and sent a twitter request to her asking her to upload a selfie of herself so that I might reuse that image in Wikicommons. This is the image she uploaded. Unfortunately it was nominated for a speedy deletion. I've therefore attempting to follow the correct procedure, removing that markup and replacing it with a plain deletion request markup so that this can be discussed. I believe there has been no copyright infringement despite this image also having been used by her on facebook see https://b-m.facebook.com/DOCTSAmbassador/photos/a.200280613638756/700305150302964/?type=3&source=54&ref=page_internal. She is the person who took the photo, with her own camera and she was the person who uploaded the image, licensing it as she saw fit. I hope this clarifies the matter sufficiently so that this deletion request can be removed. Ambrosia10 (talk) 03:58, 29 August 2019 (UTC)

Kept: Self-uploaded selfie is plausible enough in this case, based upon the explanation by Ambrosia10. --Gestumblindi (talk) 20:59, 4 March 2020 (UTC)
