Asking for speedy deletion of this file, due to redundancy. Smartcom5 (Any thoughts?) 09:10, 12 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion: The vector-image/svg-file in question was copied over to the German Wikipedia by user Zaibatsu in 2009 as National-Geographic-Logo.svg from a Commons-file Natgeologo.svg here at Commons. From there (de:W) it was (for whatever reason… ?!) back-copied in 2015 (sic!) from de:W to Commons again by the bot User:Wdwdbot using the bot_filetrans.pl script, nonwithstanding that there was already the very source-file of it (albeit under another name) it was copied/derived from into the German Wikipedia.

That being said, I've edited all respective article-pages in various Wikis containing the copied version and replaced the linked version National-Geographic-Logo.svg with the original one (Natgeologo.svg), except for a few occasions on user-space. So it should be free to be deleted.
I don't know if it makes too much sense to delete and apply a redirect for it, as it already seems to have bein previously redirected from other places.

Reminder: Also, the file is heavily corrupted (as was the source back then) with some nonsense paths, having a myriad of small identical cirles over the whole space/viewbox, bloating it to for +90 KByte in size (look up its source; Polka_Dot_Pattern)!
I hope everyone got what I'm aiming at here … Smartcom5 (Any thoughts?) 09:50, 12 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Kept: Deletion not required; still in use. --Infrogmation of New Orleans (talk) 22:55, 30 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
