This is a derivative work of an Apple Computer television advertisement. Rybec (talk) 18:26, 21 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

… which was created by a US department. Who seeminglich was allowed to make use of the advertisement, probably by fair use for educational purposes. So we can use this now, for educational purposes. I also think it's extraordinarily important to illustrate how the NSA "trolled" citizens by using this reference to 1984 and the 1984 tv ad, showing their view on citizens, as well as their definitve intention to establish a surveillance state like in the book 1984. --178.3.131.195 22:54, 21 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Fair use is not allowed on Commons but is allowed on the English Wikipedia. Rybec (talk) 00:44, 22 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Apparently so. Fair Use does apply, but by our policies we should transfer it to Wikipedia and write up a rationale. Wnt (talk) 04:02, 22 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
There are two related files, File:NSA_iphone_location_services_2.jpg and File:NSA_iPhone_Location_Services_3.jpg. The photos featured in those are unlikely to have been taken by NSA photographers. Rybec (talk) 06:09, 22 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
