Did you read what I wrote? Phil Plait is not the person who owns the copyright of the picture. Therefore he can't license it and the original license should be on one of these pages: http://www.caha.es/news/releases-mainmenu-163/11837-ngc-7331-a-large-spiral-galaxy or https://pixinsight.com/examples/NGC7331-CAHA/index.html please read and understand the text there! @Jeff G.: He mentioned Vicent Peris as author in the archive link given by you. "This gorgeous image is of the spiral galaxy NGC 7331, taken by Vicent Peris." The pages I linked are 1. the one of the observatory where the picture was taken and the page where Vicent Peris explained how he processed the image. Phil Plait didn't mention, how he got it and he deleted it. Therefore I would guess, that he didn't understand Copyright issues properly and was told, that he did somethin wrong by someone and therefore deleted it. Maybe it would be a good idea to ask Vicent Peris for Clarification. Kersti (talk) 11:18, 20 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
