- You didn't say why. Is there any reason to suspect that user:JC Allin is an impersonator of Jean Claude Allin (real or made-up identity) from that website? Looks legitimate to me. Another example (sorry for a very boring subject):

- Is there any reason to suspect that yours truly is not the flickr uploader (whose moniker matches my yahoo email address by mere coincidence)? NVO (talk) 12:44, 9 December 2011 (UTC)
- This one and all the ones below: The card maker has the same name as the uploader to Commons, so maybe it's useful to send him an OTRS request before nomination or deleting his pictures, that seems more polite to me and might save us a scared away user. Mvg, Basvb (talk) 07:55, 9 December 2011 (UTC)
- Request for what, precisely? For using one's own name? COM:OTRS starts with "Before you upload the file to Commons, contact the copyright holder and ask them to release the work under a free license..." How can JC Allin contact Jean Claude Allin?
- As for the carte postale header, this seems to be merely a convention of that website, most images there are not postcards at all and never were ("Envoyez une carte virtuelle"). NVO (talk) 12:44, 9 December 2011 (UTC)
- Keep pending a more useful contact on User talk:JC Allin. A mass deletion request, with multiple notifications that fail to outline the COM:OTRS process, is not a very friendly or appropriate welcome. The main purpose of COM:OTRS in this case is to protect Allin from the possibility that somebody might impersonate him and illegally upload his photos under a false license; as long as there is no reason to suspect this is happening, though, it's completely inappropriate to treat User:JC Allin as an adversary or a suspected criminal. Sammyday, I think the best approach would be for you to delete the multiple, redundant notifications, replace them with a clear explanation in plain
EnglishFrench, and maybe use Special:EmailUser just to be safe. Are you willing to do that? -Pete F (talk) 21:55, 15 December 2011 (UTC)
