  • Fraudulent nomination calling the name of a <practically> unrelated person. Alexey Dushkin designed the underground station and the western surface entrance hall. The eastern entrance hall, pictured here, was built almost a decade later. It is credited to Yu. P. Zenkevich and N. I. Demchinsky (architects) and V. F. Bordichenko (artwork) [2]. FWIW, Dushkin was too good to produce something like it. NVO (talk) 10:26, 2 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  •  Comment I object to the use of the word "fraudulent" above. In the absence of any evidence that Fernrohr intended to mislead us, it would be better to say "mistaken" or "erroneous". Fraud is a serious crime in most places and, certainly, accusing one of our colleagues of it is a serious matter. Mistakes, on the other hand, happen to all of us.      Jim . . . . Sorry, I don't understand.

  • We attempt to maintain a collegial relationship here on Commons, so we should try to be colleagues, all of us. I include both both Fernrohr and NVO in "our colleagues", along with all other editors.
  • I make no comment on the facts in NVO's posting. It may well be that Fernrohr made an error here.
  • I do object to NVO accusing Fernrohr of a serious crime without evidence. Deliberate falsification of information here might be grounds for banning.
  • I have no relationship of any kind with Fernrohr other than that we are both Commons editors.
  • I am not at all sure what the reference to my comment in August, 2010, at Commons:Deletion requests/Alexey Dushkin is about. I have made approximately 12,000 edits in the six months since then. The fact that both Fernrohr and I made comments in a discussion that long ago is hardly evidence of anything.

If the 3 persons quoted by NVO did build a metro station in 1947, I assume they were alive then. Since 70 years have not yet passed, I might have given the wrong architect for that part of the building in my nomination (sorry), but anyhow the reason remains: Holder of rights died less than 70 years ago, licensing of photos of their work not yet possible on Commons. --Fernrohr (talk) 19:07, 16 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
