Possible copyright violation. The contents of the sign may not be in the public domain or under an otherwise free license, and having several paragraphs on it probably deems it copyrightable. The bottom of the sign is cropped off, so I am unable to see if a copyright notice or a year is mentioned. PseudoSkull (talk) 03:55, 16 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

(continued from last post) The contents of the sign could be considered public-domain if it was created before 1977, as image searching online indicates no copyright notice on the sign. Also if it was created before March 1989, and didn't have registration at the Copyright Office (this is incredibly likely), this would also put the sign content in the public domain. Kept: Accd. to en:Monticello Association, this plaque was created in 1956. I think that it's highly unlikely that a plaque like this was registered for copyright (plus there's no apparent copyright notice). --Rosenzweig τ 15:38, 27 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
