Nonsense PD claim. Works must be free (PD) in US and country of origin per COM:L. Even if PD in the US, it would not be in Somalia (country of origin) which is, per COM:SOMALIA, pma + 30. Image is far too recent for this condition to be met. Эlcobbola talk 19:12, 27 January 2021 (UTC)
- Copyright don't exist in Somalia. They have a copyright law, but it requires registration and no copyright registration office exists. To be fair, Somalia has bigger problems. So PDM can easily be correct for Somalia. Roman Kubanskiy (talk) 13:54, 8 February 2021 (UTC)

- That would still leave all of your work ahead of you. If this is unregistered, the burden would be on the uploader or those seeking retention to provide evidence of the same. (Per COM:EVID, "In all cases the uploader must provide appropriate evidence to demonstrate either that the file is in the public domain." (underline added)) The source we've been given a) does not give the date of the photo (12 July 2020 is the mere date of the article); b) does not give the author; and c) does not even give the country of origin (!!!) The source, universaltvsomali.net, is registered in the UK, not Somalia. (Assertion of Somalia appears to be because the subject is Somali, which is tantamount to claiming photographs of Elon Must be from South Africa.) COM:L, further, asks "information sufficient for others to verify the license status." This has also not been done. It is at minimum a COM:PRP issue. Эlcobbola talk 15:20, 8 February 2021 (UTC)
