No evidence that the image was published without a copyright notice or that its copyright was not renewed. See also en:Wikipedia:Files_for_deletion/2011_June_27#File:MissSharonBrown1961.jpg. UserB (talk) 20:39, 29 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

  •  Comment: This photo would have certainly been taken and published in 1961 due to its context. Is there grounds to show the image is still copyrighted? I don't know. While we should get some (limited) evidence that the image is still under copyright before we delete it this might be sufficient to delete it. So, perhaps the uploader never had the rights in the first place? --Leoboudv (talk) 04:50, 2 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep As was stated on wikipedia, the source web page that is now defunct contained a PD release. In any account, the photo is pre-1964, which due to age and lack of copyright renewal (if there ever was one to begin with) would make the photo public domain. These nominations for deletion never came about when the source site was still up because the release was clearly visible. 166.214.244.147 22:24, 15 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
