Fake and unsourced image -- The person in the image does not represent Faqir Ipi, because Faqir Ipi looked like this image from the verified twitter account of the Pakistani (Waziristani) parlimentarian Mohsin Dawar: https://twitter.com/mjdawar/status/1250462146984652802. Also, Faqir Ipi can be seen in this black and white image: https://twitter.com/KalamWazir/status/1250411013767299073/photo/1 (The three persons holding the image are members of the National Assembly of Pakistan, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa provincial assembly.) The defence.pk post is simply a copy-paste from the Wikipedia article where the fake image had been displayed until recently. Here are two other sources showing the real image of Faqir Ipi at the top: [4], [5]. Although they also show the fake image in the middle of the pages, they could have also taken it from Wikipedia as it was displayed on Wikipedia's Faqir Ipi article for a long time. In any case, the two images are noticably different and clearly belong to two different persons, as they are compared here. We need to have a new, undisputed image (like the one on the top of the two pages linked) for Faqir Ipi. Khestwol (talk) 13:55, 1 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
