Well, in fact the same could be applied to File:Cub_de_Minecraft.png. kismalac
I did this in Inkscape, so it is not a screenshot or anything, but I guess it was a mistake to color the squares exactly like the original cube. What if i change the colors? Move them around? Would that count as originality? ///abbedabbtalk 10:56, 31 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Well, the thing is that regardless those small changes you are proposing, it would still be a derivative work of Minecraft, and we don't have specific permission from Mojang to redistribute a derivative work with a free license. kismalac 13:50, 1 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
What about logos made from simple shapes? If I make the cube consist of just five colors? //abbedabbtalk 13:58, 1 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Look at the current version. What do you think? //abbedabbtalk 14:14, 1 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
At this point, I honestly don't know if it is below the threshold of originality. The words "simple shapes" are quite ambiguous. We need further insight. kismalac 23:47, 2 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
At least it's really ugly now. I should maybe try to do a simple character from the game in the same style as this one. //abbedabbtalk 10:46, 3 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Here it is: Minecraft man.svg and Minecraft man 2.svg. //abbedabbtalk 14:30, 3 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
