Misleading historical image where both the artist and her painting (!!) have had their faces upscaled by an AI making a guess at what those faces might look like if they were higher resolution portrait photographs. I've uploaded the original newsprint version to File:Marisa Roesset, "Lola la gitana".jpg (it took a while to find the original, most websites had copied this public domain AI version). - Actually this photograph may not even be in the public domain at all, as it includes an image of a painting by an artist who died only 48 years ago. I've cropped my new upload of it to just the artist. Belbury (talk) 14:38, 12 June 2024 (UTC)
- Your upload is not the same as the newspaper, the faces of the artist and her painting have been modified.
- Roesset's "Lola la gitana" painting shown in the photo is not yet public domain in the US, you cannot claim "author's life plus 80 years or fewer" for the work of an artist who died 48 years ago. Belbury (talk) 14:20, 28 June 2024 (UTC)
