Uploader claims a CC-BY-SA license, but the terms of use for the source website/application state that it is CC-BY-NC. This is not in accordance with the four freedoms, and thus this should not be hosted on Commons.  — Crisco 1492 (talk) 13:20, 10 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

The license is for the web site. For the output of their free GeoMapApp they ask for an attribution. If the used data for this map came from the linked US Geological Survey it could be PD-USGov. –Be..anyone (talk) 03:13, 16 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Deleted: The fuller version of the "Terms of Use" state that "Data are provided with the express understanding that they will not be sold to third parties or included in commercial databases.". It is effectively an N-C condition and therefore could not be hosted on Commons without more explicit licensing information. Green Giant (talk) 00:07, 18 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
