Two clear problems with licensing: relies on author dying before 1942, yet it indicated as anonymous; no tag covering the US. Grandiose (talk) 17:37, 21 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I would say  Keep with license changed to {{PD-EU-no author disclosure}}. Materialscientist (talk) 11:54, 27 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Done! License changed. Cvbr 11:13, 10 feb 2012 (UTC)
What about it's status in the US? Grandiose (talk) 15:43, 10 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Good point which I didn't think about when this DR started. This file does not comply with URAA (anon. work - 70 years after publication in Spain, not reached in 1996), and thus, together with thousands other files, falls under this debate. Materialscientist (talk) 00:10, 11 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Could you explain how the file would be in the public domain, URAA aside? I normally use this chart but I can't see which it would fall under. Grandiose (talk) 16:14, 12 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
It is in public domain in Europe, but, according to URAA, not in the US, i.e. it can be uploaded on a local wiki. I just haven't followed what Commons decided to do with those thousands of images which don't comply with URAA. Materialscientist (talk) 22:43, 12 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
URAA aside, how would it be out of copyright in the US? I see quite a lot of files in a similar position, it would be nice to know. Grandiose (talk) 22:38, 13 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Same here :-) Materialscientist (talk) 22:43, 13 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
