Highly inaccurate. Image wrongly and inappropriately created by the uploader. The Angus Maddison's chart based on historical trends can be found at page 259. The image does match with each other. Laviaread78b (talk) 14:42, 3 July 2019 (UTC)
- DELETE or EDIT: Identical image here, but 4 more centuries were added. The book published by the author does not show.--85.211.169.198 14:47, 3 July 2019 (UTC)
- Keep – This is not a reproduction of any chart in Maddison's book. It is a graph of data in the cited table (Table A.7. World per Capita GDP: 20 Countries and Regional Averages, 1–2003AD) on page 382 of the book. The table has columns for years 1, 1000, 1500, 1600, 1700, 1820, 1870, 1913, 1950, 1973 and 2003, and rows for the selected countries among others. This table gives GDP per capita, whereas the table linked by the nominator gives total GDP for each country. Kanguole (talk) 15:13, 3 July 2019 (UTC)
- Edit – As the chart is used in articles in many languages, if there are inaccuracies and correct data from reputable sources are available, it is much preferred to fix it than to delete it. I'm happy to redraw it if someone can point me to the relevant data. Cheers, cmɢʟee ⋅τaʟκ 21:57, 3 July 2019 (UTC)
- The graph has a cited source, and no-one has yet indicated a single point in the graph that does not accurately reflect that source. I suspect that the nominator is confused about what is represented by the graph and the table it is based on. Kanguole (talk) 22:23, 4 July 2019 (UTC)
- Keep: Under COM:NPOV, Commons should not delete a used file simply because it's alleged to be (or even because it is) inaccurate. If everyone agrees, the file could be overwritten by a corrected one. If not, upload your preferred version under a different name and take the question of which one to use to the Wikipedias that are using them. --bjh21 (talk) 12:06, 4 July 2019 (UTC)
