̇ I withdraw my nomination Low-re poster. Besides director is probably not the illustrator. Patrick Rogel (talk) 08:18, 2 June 2020 (UTC) CC license added at source. --Patrick Rogel (talk) 19:37, 5 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

The poster art copyright is believed belong to the distributor of the film, the publisher of the film or the graphic artist, but is Commons Attribution-ShareAlike. The entire poster: because the image is poster art, a form of product packaging or service marketing, the entire image is needed to identify the product or service, properly convey the meaning and branding intended, and avoid tarnishing or misrepresenting the image. The copy is of sufficient resolution for commentary and identification but lower resolution than the original poster. Copies made from it will be of inferior quality, unsuitable as counterfeit artwork, pirate versions or for uses that would compete with the commercial purpose of the original artwork. As film poster art, the image is not replaceable by free content; any other image that shows the same artwork or poster would also be copyrighted, and any version that is not true to the original would be inadequate for identification or commentary. Incomprehensible explainations. @Neepes: may you have the poster designer sending a permission via COM:OTRS? In the meantime may you reupload the file at the highest resolution? --Patrick Rogel (talk) 15:40, 3 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

As I've already said I doubt Vladimir Seixas is the poster designer. --Patrick Rogel (talk) 17:43, 4 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Vladimir Seixas is the director of the film and the poster designer is for his production company (Couro de Rato Filmes in http://couroderato.com.br/). All poster rights are Creative Commons Attribution-Share Alike 2.0 Generic license. Neepes (talk) 11:18, 5 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Neepes: Then if not the poster designer Vladimir Seixas has not the right to license it (you say it yourself "The poster art copyright is believed belong to the distributor of the film, the publisher of the film or the graphic artist"). Please do as requested above or have this poster being posted at http://couroderato.com.br under a valid license. --Patrick Rogel (talk) 15:07, 5 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Patrick Rogel: According to the published response from the production company, Vladimir Seixas is the designer and the "Posters available under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike License" http://couroderato.com.br/cartazes/ Neepes (talk) 14:47, 5 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
