- Comment Uploader's request. The file is not eligible for speedy deletion, because it is used and has been 8 years in Commons. In addition, there's no freedom of panorama in Finland for sculpture, but the artwork is situated in very old church and maybe the artwork itself is also very old and not copyrighted. - Comment The copyright holder is Yrjö Rosvall (later Rosola) and he died 1989, so this is a copyvio under Finnish law. The artwork is outside the church, but that does not matter wether in or out. --Abc10 (talk) 16:55, 31 May 2018 (UTC)
- Comment The original memorial seems quite simple to me, so I am not quite sure if it meets the Threshold of originality. However, if it does, this picture is clearly a copyright violation since FOP in Finland is for buildings only. ––Apalsola t • c 22:10, 31 May 2018 (UTC)
- Comment Artworks are often quite simple as you can see when you look at Malevich's Black Square. --Abc10 (talk) 04:44, 2 June 2018 (UTC)

- Comment The metal construction does not seem very simple to me - although I am a lay person and not a copyright lawyer. So at least I would not like to take the risk.--Urjanhai (talk) 18:33, 1 June 2018 (UTC)
- Comment Obvious violation of copyright, as the uploader has noticed later. --Höyhens (talk) 19:41, 1 June 2018 (UTC)
- Comment Just to notice that this issue is also being discussed (in Finnish) in Commons:Kahvihuone#Poistopyyntö oli poistettu and fi:Wikipedia:Kahvihuone (tekijänoikeudet)#Kuvan poisto-ongelma Commonsissa. ––Apalsola t • c 11:55, 2 June 2018 (UTC)
- This image is derivative work of finnish sculptor Yrjö Rosola (until 1935 Rosvall, b. 1904, d. 1989), unveiled in 1934. No FOP for sculptures in Finland. Seems this image was upploaded in Commons by mistake and forgotten for eight years. It happens but it does not change the copyright issue. Hyperlink for the memorial [1] (only in finnish).--Htm (talk) 18:27, 2 June 2018 (UTC)
