This coat of arms of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth was created by its author's imagination as it's historically incorrect. After the Union of Lublin of 1569, the Coat of arms of Lithuania – Vytis (Pahonia, Pogoń) was already using Azure (blue) color in it. This version of the horse rider is a slightly modified Belarusian version of Marcin Bielski's design from his book Kronika Polska (see page 6 in: HERE), however the original Marcin Bielski's design is uncolored, therefore it is not wholly white.
Correct examples of the coat of arms of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth with accurate colors from this period (16th century) can be seen here:
1) example number one;
2) example number two;
3) example number three (authentic illustration from circa 1555).

Reliable Lithuanian source, which say that since the 15th century CoA of Lithuania included blue (azure) color: Parliament of Lithuania (Seimas).

Consequently, I request deleting this historically inaccurate and imaginative design of the coat of arms created by the author himself as it is a hoax, which misleads the readers of Wikipedia and Wikimedia Commons. -- Pofka (talk) 21:55, 23 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

There are other examples

 Keep The two first examples provided by the initiator are as imaginary as the nominated one and all of them should be kept. Authentic illustrations of Pahonia from 15th century (Jagajła's tomb) and 1794:

  •  Comment The 1990-1995 design certainly never was used on the coat of arms of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth, therefore this illustration is absolutely inaccurate and is a clear hoax. Other illustrations, provided by Лобачев Владимир and Kazimier Lachnovič, are completely different from this hoax-type illustration which was nominated for deletion. The state symbol had azure (blue) color in it after the Union of Lublin, however other painters also depicted it with their imagination, but such illustrations are not correct (see: Coat of arms of Poland which shows authentic depictions of Vytis (Pahonia) on buildings). The slightly modified version of the coat of arms of Lithuania, adopted by Belarus in 1990-1995, and inserted into this hoax-type illustration:

The rider has been changed and is not the coat of arms of Belarus. The nomination can be closed. --Лобачев Владимир (talk) 15:37, 29 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

 Comment After creation of my nomination for deletion of this file, user Лобачев Владимир uploaded new versions of it. He replaced the 1990+ Belarusian coat of arms with an absolutely random, unsourced horse rider. Consequently, all versions of this file either violate Wikipedia:HOAX or COM:NOTHOST rules. His actions perfectly show that he is just a HOAX-creator, who want to distort historical symbols and do want to comply with the Wikipedia:Assume good faith principle. I would suggest to apply serious sanctions against him for such disruptive editing and violations of multiple rules. -- Pofka (talk) 20:04, 5 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Is this the person who defends the fantasy flag of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania in Wikipedia articles (File: Royal banner of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania.svg) and the fantasy coat of arms of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth (File:Coat of Arms of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth.svg)? --Лобачев Владимир (talk) 14:39, 6 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Here is a reliable Lithuanian source, which say that since the 15th century CoA of Lithuania included blue (azure) color: Parliament of Lithuania (Seimas). Consequently, all CoAs of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania without blue color are fake and inaccurate WP:OR, WP:HOAX. Especially this one as it is not even based on any inaccurate old illustrations, thus it violate COM:NOTHOST rule. -- Pofka (talk) 17:54, 7 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

A similar image of the coat of arms of 1561. --Лобачев Владимир (talk) 09:38, 11 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

It is modified and still violates COM:NOTHOST rule. -- Pofka (talk) 09:42, 25 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Base colors: File:Tapestry with the coats of arms of Poland (White Eagle) and Lithuania (Vytis, Pahonia) and a figure of Victory.jpg. --Лобачев Владимир (talk) 22:22, 31 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Kept: No reason for deletion of this image. According to the Deletion policy a supposedly incorrect or not-neutral image is not a reason for deletion. This aspect should be addressed on the projects. The image is currently in use on the projects, so it has to be maintained. --Ellywa (talk) 17:45, 30 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
