- this is a historic event, it happened in april 1961, in algiers, the photo was taken by then. As for the PD in US i don't have any evidence, for now.. if any is found, i'll add it to the file, otherwise i'll just move it to en-wiki.. Dzlinker (talk) 06:35, 25 February 2013 (UTC)
- I'm afraid the question is not when it was created, but when and where it was first published. {{PD-Algeria}} would only apply if it was first published in Algeria (i.e. not by a foreign newspaper) and if that publication happened the same year it was created, which seems plausible, but far from certain. —LX (talk, contribs) 11:15, 25 February 2013 (UTC)
