The image was taken by Claire Aho (1925-2015) - pioneering and acclaimed photo-artist and photographer. Her photographic legacy is highly artistic and several of the specific and characteristic components of her artistry such as humour and wit, composition, sense of colour are prevalent in the image. She is regarded as the "Grand Old Lady of Photography" in Finland and has been acknowledged for her photographic artistry with e.g. a state artist pension and The Medal of the White Rose of Finland. The image enjoys the customary protection, 70 years after the death of the photographer/artist. 88.131.3.207 13:04, 8 June 2021 (UTC)
- It might be a good idea to keep focus on the photograph, not the photographer. --Htm (talk) 05:31, 9 June 2021 (UTC)
- The photograph does not manifest sufficient originality. This promotional photo could have been taken by several professional photographers, and therefore it does not qualify for being considered a work of art. The template “PD-Finland50” is correct, and the misguided claim of the anonymous user can be discarded. --Mlang.Finn (talk) 12:39, 9 June 2021 (UTC)
- It might be a good idea to keep focus on the nomination, not the nominator. --Htm (talk) 07:34, 19 July 2021 (UTC)
- Delete. Although Mlang.Finn's comment above, and COM:FINLAND#Photographs that are not works of art, might suggest that this photo is not a "work of art" therefore meets {{PD-Finland50}},
- I think there is a fair argument that this photo is a "work of art". Per the nominator, the photo is taken by a professional and acclaimed portrait photographer. Elements like the costume, positioning, lighting, as well as photographic angle, framing, etc are all creative elements applied by the photographer - they didn't just walk up and snap a photo of something happening as described in COM:FINLAND#Photographs that are not works of art.
- Even if {{PD-Finland50}} applies, it was copyrighted at the URAA date of 1996-01-01, meaning it is still copyrighted in the US per COM:URAA.

Deleted: per nomination and discussion. One can always discuss endlessly what is art and what isn’t. Imho this work of a professional photographer is a work of art. As he died in 2019 the photo can per Finnish law be undeleted 70 years after 2019 so in 2090.. --Ellywa (talk) 19:57, 12 January 2022 (UTC)
