According to Commons:Copyright rules by territory/Poland#Retroactive changes, photographs were retroactively put under copyright protection for life+50 years in 1994 and subsequently extended to life+70 years. Since the photographer is known and died in 1988, this would mean that the photograph is not currently PD in either source country or US. Buidhe (talk) 04:21, 17 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Keep Published in 1970 without copyright notice. {{PD-Poland}} applies; the author death date is irrelevant for copyright status. Ankry (talk) 22:16, 17 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Keep As above. Decision should be the same like in the case of other photos of this author. This particular photo was published in the Władysław Bartoszewski's book from 1970 - without any copyright copyright reservation. PD-Polish applies.Dreamcatcher25 (talk) 07:33, 18 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Keep If the work was published before 1994 without copyright notice (which is the case here) the general rule that the default length of copyright is 70 years after the death of the author does not apply. Boston9 (talk) 17:56, 13 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Kept: per discussion. --rubin16 (talk) 10:11, 24 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
