This is too complex to be a text logo. See COM:TOO. Magog the Ogre (talk) (contribs) 03:01, 6 December 2017 (UTC)
- Comment @Magog the Ogre: I think adding {{PD-shape}} to the licence section would be a bit more appropriate? I'm not sure exactly which region would be the best per TOO though, i.e. would it be Germany because it originated in a German concentration camp, but in saying that, it was created by Allied soldiers. A majority of the POW's were American and I don't think this logo is too complex per America's interpretation of TOO, but their were nine Australian POW's and this would be too complex per Australia's interpretation of TOO. Thoughts on which is the best region? Flickerd (talk) 03:18, 6 December 2017 (UTC)
- Delete, to complex to fall below the TOO. Salavat (talk) 00:11, 7 December 2017 (UTC)
- Keep in lieu of a response from the comment above, the book–which this logo was scanned from–was published in Canada so that is probably the best region to use when assessing TOO. Based on Canada's implementation of TOO, I'd say this logo is simple enough to be PD-ineligible and the licence on the file page should be updated with {{PD-shape}}. Deleted, this is not a simple logo. It is anonymous work published in Germany in 1944. Nowadays it is in PD in source country as {{Anonymous-EU}}, but it was not in PD in URAA date and now URAA demands 95 years from publication. Will be undeleted in 2040. Taivo (talk) 14:07, 23 January 2018 (UTC)
