This is not an image of the cartographer, but of the U.S. President. Docuracy (talk) 07:56, 1 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Keep. It was inappropriate to suggest deletion of a portrait which was merely attributed to the wrong sitter. All it needed was page move, corrected description, corrected date and corrected category, which has all now been done. You did not need to tag it for deletion - you could have re-attributed it yourself, or asked me to do it (and it's now done, anyway). So please remove the tag. Storye book (talk) 08:55, 1 July 2022 (UTC) I should add that this image is slightly bigger, and better quality, than the similar one on the (president) John Adams page, so it should not be deleted on grounds of duplication. • I suppose we'll have to delete this file unless the "NIKOLAS®SCHILLER" ascending text in the lower right corner can be deleted and is OK to delete. Is Mr. Schiller the "unknown author" of the photograph? -- Ikan Kekek (talk) 02:33, 6 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Kept: no valid reason for deletion. --Gbawden (talk) 07:13, 21 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
