This file was initially tagged by Patrick Rogel as Copyvio (copyvio) and the most recent rationale was: Copyrighted work by Jean Alexandru Steriadi (d. 1956).

The image can be found on Europeana, where it is tagged as CC0, thus free for use. Discussion is needed. Gikü (talk) 21:32, 12 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@De728631: , @Gikü: as far as I understand the Romanian 1956 decree modified 1996, protection for the works by Steriadi was initially 50 years so it would have ended in 2006. However It was extended in 1996 (so before 2006) to 70 years then the works are still copyrighted until 2026. Yours, --Patrick Rogel (talk) 14:21, 13 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
That's right. The 1996 extension prolongued the copyright term to 2026. The previous period of 50 years for Steriadi's works would have expired on 31 December 1996, but the law was changed before that date. De728631 (talk) 14:54, 13 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
