- Keep: Lack of originality, emblem used on the monument is older than 100 years. The author's intention was neither poetry nor to sell anything. -- PhJ (talk) 17:32, 15 January 2013 (UTC)
- It's the specific representation that is copyrightable (see COM:Coats of arms). --Eleassar (t/p) 19:16, 15 January 2013 (UTC)
Deleted: THe text, the emblem, and the general shape of the sculpture all have a copyright. In most countries, all paintings, sculpture, architecture, text, and other creative works have copyrights which last for 70 years after the death of the creator. An image of a work that is still under copyright is a derivative work, and infringes on the copyright so that we cannot usually keep the image on Commons. In some countries, there is a special exception to the copyright law which allows such images under certain circumstances. We call that exception freedom of panorama (FOP). Unfortunately there is no applicable FOP exception in this case. . Jim . . . . (Jameslwoodward) (talk to me) 12:56, 22 January 2013 (UTC)
