- What detail of Jaffa gate does this show? A brick. And of course, the cigarette stub and foot from the last photo are missing. What would we do without this. Poliocretes (talk) 08:41, 25 August 2017 (UTC)
Keep. I imagine that something carved that deep into a stone gateway with that much age and historical significance, could have some potential educational value. Figured it out, the picture attempts to depict the Palestine Exploration Fund benchmark etched into the gate, similar to this.
