The author in metadata, "Mamuka Kikalishvili (Kikala)", differs from the uploader, which source is listed as "Own work". —Bagumba (talk) 13:47, 11 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

  • Same situation with File:Irakli Kobakhidze Cropped.jpg, which appears to be a cropped version.—Bagumba (talk) 13:51, 11 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
    • Strong oppose. A person's legal name and names used on Wikimedia are often not same. There is also no requirement that author's wikimedia username or other names used here should match their legal name for us to consider them authors. It does not exclude that author is who he says he is. This is very weak argument for deleting what is a good professional photo. No evidence somebody just found and copy this on internet. It looks like author with access to original photo material. Needs better argument to justify deletion.--LeontinaVarlamonva (talk) 20:30, 11 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete per nom. The name discrepancy raises strong concerns that the image is not one belonging to the uploader, who incidentally has been blocked in the past for uploading images not belonging to them. Also this looks like some kind of professional/official photo involving the subject which would also cast doubt on the copyright owner. Overall per the precautionary principle I think there's too much doubt about this, unless an OTRS ticket or similar can verify it. Amakuru (talk) 23:08, 11 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
To prevent the deletion of this photo, taken by the famous photographer Mamuka Kikalishvili (a.k.a Kikala), but with usage rights belonging to the Political Party 'Georgian Dream,' please tell me what we need to upload to avoid deletion here. Regarding previous deletions, they were mistakes and will not be repeated.NobodyUser (talk) 12:02, 14 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I have been working with the Government of Georgia for a long time and believe I have the right to upload certain information. Unfortunately, I am unable to provide the original file, but I can inform the media relations team of the Government of Georgia to respond officially through their government email. If you could advise me on what information I can provide to avoid deletion, I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you!NobodyUser (talk) 18:20, 14 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
