• Delete. The image file in question is an error, and can be unintentionally deceiving. The car in the image is the 1923 Indianapolis 500 winner, but the filename for the file in question is incorrect. Makes it look like it is an image of the 1931 winner. A correct and valid replacement file alrady exists File:Indianapolis500winningcar1923.jpg, and is the one that should be used. Doctorindy (talk) 14:13, 4 December 2023 (UTC)

• Since File:Indianapolis500winningcar1923.jpg is the same picture as the linked one, yes, it's fine to delete this file. But in the future, the best and least confusing thing to do is request COM:File renaming. -- Ikan Kekek (talk) 17:55, 4 December 2023 (UTC)

  Yes, I had initiated a rename a while ago, which did take place. Since File:Indianapolis500winningcar1923.jpg (the rename I had suggested) is not misleading, I propose to delete any file or redirect which uses the File:Indy500winningcar1931.JPG name, as it is misleading/confusing.
