Derivative work of a toy. ChrisiPK (Talk|Contribs) 23:02, 18 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Itself (the toy) is a derivative work from a turtle. Is there any creativity here? ~ bayo or talk 20:29, 24 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
A turtle itself cannot be copyrighted, but a scuplture of a turtle can. It's after all the creator's creativity deciding how the final work should look like. Regards, -- ChrisiPK (Talk|Contribs) 13:04, 25 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I deleted several iDog images by the same uploader, but left these as I was unsure whether there actually is a toy called iTurtle of which this is a derivative. If so, then of course they must go as well. --MichaelMaggs (talk) 20:16, 25 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I did a quick Google search and came across several iTurtle images (e.g. [1]) and even found [2], which makes me think that this is a copyvio and certainly not self-made. Regards, -- ChrisiPK (Talk|Contribs) 22:51, 25 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
