Delete the person (Humayun Azad) returned from Scotland in 1974 to attend the convocation ceremony (a letter sent to him by his friend in Britain informing him). 37.111.234.21 12:55, 22 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Keep, according to convocation.du.ac.bd this photo was captured in 1969, the photo should be renamed as Humayun Azad in 1969. — Preceding unsigned comment was added by 116.58.203.208 (talk) 06:02, 30 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Keep. This good faith deletion request/proposal must be speedily closed, the photo was of 1969, no English reference can't be found but it was definitely in 1969 and public domain of Pakistan, the source from facebook may not be true, but it was obviously in 1969. Must be kept. ShomPorbo (talk) 06:19, 30 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Keep, No Dhaka University related website shows that this photo was captured in 1974, it was of 1960s, and yes of course there was convocation in 1960s, read it, at least you can be assured that Dhaka University held convocation in 1964 (1960s), yes, convocation was held after 1960 and before 1974, please read this also, it is saying that Dhaka University arranged it's last convocation in the Pakistan-era in 1970. The photo must be kept, the deletion proposal is ridiculous. No one and never it has told in any book that the person in this photo is in 1974, Dhaka University's 39th convocation was in 1970 and 40th was to be held 1975 but due to the country's President's murder the convocation was cancelled, no convocation was held in 1974, just honorable degrees were given to some people in 1974, no convocation was held, in 1969 38th convocation was held; in 2019 total 52nd convocation has been held, read this and this also, Dhaka University arranged it's first convocation in 1923 after two years of it's official establishment.  Delete The photo was uploaded by a sockpuppet of a known long-term vandal. The uploader's account itself is currently globally locked (and hundreds more). I wouldn't put much trust in the information provided by a known vandal. The source link (which links to a Facebook page) doesn't provide much credible informataion I can verify. Another of the sock's vandal commended on a related deletion request (see here). — T. 21:45, 1 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
