Likely copyright violation. Appears to be a photograph (the uploader's?) of another photograph which was taken decades ago (the subject died in the 90s). Likely a photograph of some archived photograph owned by someone other than the uploader. Dan Leonard (talk) 04:05, 26 December 2023 (UTC)
- This photo (the original, hard copy photo, not the jpg) is in possession of one of the descendants of Herb Kramer. This photo was from his personal effects. It is now in the possession of his daughter Katherine. Berwin (talk) 18:00, 26 December 2023 (UTC)
- @Berwin: Do you or Katherine know who took the photo, and is that person still alive (or if not, are either one of you their heir)? If yes to both questions, then you should contact the volunteer response team to declare this and confirm the usage of the free license. —holly {chat} 17:22, 14 February 2024 (UTC)
- This photo was likely taken by a white house staff photographer (and thus in the public domain by default). I'll try and find out definitive evidence for this. Berwin (talk) 18:39, 14 February 2024 (UTC)
- Also can I ask how you came to comment on this today? Because by coincidence (or not) I know someone who downloaded the photo from the Wiki at the same time. I'm wondering if the two are related. Berwin (talk) 20:49, 14 February 2024 (UTC)
- I closed a bunch of deletion requests today and this one was in the queue, that's all. —holly {chat} 22:05, 14 February 2024 (UTC)
- @Berwin: Any progress? —holly {chat} 22:23, 21 February 2024 (UTC)
