Violation of artist's posthumous copyright. Per COM:FOP Vatican, Vatican City follows the rules of the Italian copyright law, which does not provide freedom of panorama for free uses and sharing of images of copyrighted architecture and public art even for commercial purposes. Nominated photo shows a 1939 sculpture authored by w:it:Giovanni Prini who died in 1958. Image may only be undeleted if its U.S. copyright expires (thanks to Uruguay Round Agreements Act that restored or established U.S. copyright to all eligible global works).
