COM:DW - photo of a sculpture in a museum. Is this model of a person so common and utilitarian that it is not copyrighted? I doubt it. Saibo (Δ) 11:48, 28 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Keep I think it is. This kind of model is obviously not art. BrightRaven (talk) 14:23, 28 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Keep The picture is not about the plastic man but the uniform and guns of WWI. All pictures have been taken in Mémorial de Verdun where pictures are allowed (I have asked), so I don't understand where's the problem... historicair (talk) 14:29, 28 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
It is not about the museum (if you are allowed to take photos or not is only your problem) - it is about the person/artist/author who made this model. If you can get his permission it would be fine. --Saibo (Δ) 02:12, 1 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
delete. There may be long debates on "art or not art", "model or sculpture", "useful object or not", but it's all irrelevant and useless. The only thing that matters is: whether this DR will be closed by a sysop who says "models must be deleted", or the one who says "not necessarily so". NVO (talk) 20:00, 28 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
