Keep User image legitimately in use in a Wikimedia project. If you feel the message is improper, you should ask in Portuguese Wikipedia to stop using the image. Commons is not here to editorialise other projects.--Pere prlpz (talk) 10:29, 3 June 2015 (UTC)

PauloMSimoes (talk) 22:56, 12 June 2015 (UTC)- @PauloMSimoes: No, I can't judge by myself. I must abide to Commons policies - Commons ones, you are linking to an English Wikipedia policy. One of most important Commons policies is Commons:Scope and Commons:Project_scope#File_in_use_in_another_Wikimedia_project states that "A media file that is in use on one of the other projects of the Wikimedia Foundation is considered automatically to be useful for an educational purpose, as is a file in use for some operational reason such as within a template or the like. Such a file is not liable to deletion simply because it may be of poor quality: if it is in use, that is enough" - next sentences are about images used in user pages like this one but they don't change anything important.
- Therefore, if you don't like the image, you can replace it in ptwiki with something better (according local policies about what can be done in a user page), but you can't just delete it while in use per Commons policy. Deleting it while in use would just be circumventing Portuguese Wikipedia rules and community.--Pere prlpz (talk) 23:08, 12 June 2015 (UTC)
