Unclear why this flag is an "official item legally exempt from copyright in its country of origin" in Canada. None of the Canadian licenses fit. According to the source, this flag was adopted in 2006. ✗plicit 23:43, 24 October 2024 (UTC)
- Uploader comment: this was definitely added earlier when I had a less firm grasp on the copyright rules. With that said, I thought I uploaded this to the English wiki, with appropriate fair use rationale but I may be mistaken. Has it been moved to the commons recently? With that said, I'm not opposed to a deletion and wouldn't be surprised if a speedy criteria might be met. Sorry I can't add more, my home wiki is definitely the English wiki, most of my contribs here are (ironically) speedy tags for misplaced items I come across when patrolling the NPP queue.
