Out-of-scope fantasy flag. Has apparently now been confused with a real or serious proposal on a few Wikis. GPinkerton (talk) 18:10, 1 July 2021 (UTC)
- Keep. Out of which scope? The file has now been tagged with {{Fictitious flag}}. Deletion is neither needed nor warranted. χ (talk) 20:14, 1 July 2021 (UTC)
- Χ "Special or fictional" flags are supposed to have an existence independent of Wikimedia: Commons:What_Commons_is_not#Wikimedia_Commons_is_not_your_personal_free_web_host and Commons:Project_scope#File_not_legitimately_in_use "Must be realistically useful for an educational purpose". There is no way this can be useful for an educational purpose. GPinkerton (talk) 22:02, 1 July 2021 (UTC)
- I don't see how this file is different from the numerous fictional flags in Category:SVG special or fictional flags. χ (talk) 22:17, 1 July 2021 (UTC)
- Χ Is that relevant? If this image is a a fantasy flag for a fantasy universe that exists only on Wikimedia Commons, it cannot be realistically useful for an educational purpose, is therefore out of scope and should not be hosted here, and should be deleted. Are you arguing that because other images also breach policy this way, the policy should be ignored? GPinkerton (talk) 22:27, 1 July 2021 (UTC)

Deleted: Going with User:GPinkerton on this one. Please take it to Commons:Undeletion requests if you wish to overturn this decision (instead of going to my talk page). Thanks. --Missvain (talk) 15:46, 30 July 2021 (UTC)
