- Delete, derivative work of a still from the 1942 Argentine film La maestrita de los obreros (see the link above and COM:DW). {{PD-AR-Movie}} indicates that Argentine films become public domain 50 years the death of the last script writer, producer and director. IMDb identifies the film's director as Alberto de Zavalía who died in 1988,[2] so the film will not be public domain until at least 2038. Verbcatcher (talk) 19:54, 17 September 2023 (UTC)
- Comment. This seems to be the case with many of the drawings uploaded by the same user. See Category:WikiEmakumeok ilustrazioak. Alavense (talk) 11:02, 18 October 2023 (UTC)
- I noticed this, and I quickly found matching photographs with a Google Image search, either using the name of the subject or by using our image as a search reference. It seems likely that the uploader Maitane Azurmendi is unfamiliar with the rules in Commons:Derivative works. Most or all of these files should be nominated for deletion, ideally using a mass deletion request instead of one-by-one nominations. This has been on my to-do list, but I have no problem with someone else raising a deletion nomination. Verbcatcher (talk) 14:12, 18 October 2023 (UTC)
- It was probably a matter of unfamiliarity with the rules, as you say. I asked her about it on her talk page. Alavense (talk) 10:17, 19 October 2023 (UTC)
