I put in a request for a free replacement at Wikipedia:Reference desk/Computing#Got a macbook pro?. --Guy Macon (talk) 20:50, 28 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
I'd find it strange if this is not fair use, but I'm not an expert on this kind of thing. For now I have uploaded a modified version with another duckface pasted over the favicon, so for now the issue should be moot. If experts decide this use of the duckduckgo favicon on a screenshot is fair use, please revert.  --Lambiam 14:44, 29 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Lambiam: Just FYI, fair use is not acceptable on Commons. --17jiangz1 (talk) 20:19, 15 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
The DuckDuckGo logo should qualify as de minimis as long as the {{De minimis}} template is used. — Newslinger talk 05:49, 31 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
